Below are the Adventox Ltd Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of, bookings, cancellations and Adventox escape games.

§1 Definitions

§1.1 Adventox – Referring to Adventox Ltd

§1.4 The user – the person using the website

§1.5 The Client – the person who is booking one or more game slots

§1.6 The Team – the group of players which has been booked by the client

§1.7 The players – the people playing an Adventox game

§1.8 The Escape Game Shop – The Adventox escape game location

§1.9 Secondary Client – A client who purchases your game slot

§1.10 No-show – If the client does not turn up for a booking

Adventox can be contacted by email or at Adventox, First Floor, West12 Shopping Centre, Shepherds Bush Green, W12 8PP.

§3 Bookings

§3.1 Adventox games can be booked online, via email, phone, or in person at our escape game shop.

§3.2 A payment is a pre-payment for a selected time slot and game. The pre-payment only becomes a contractual booking, when a booking validations has been sent. The booking confirmation that you should receive shortly after the booking only highlights your booking details. The booking validation email will sent by an Adventox game manager accepting the booking as soon as possible.

§3.3 A booking might need to be cancelled at short notice due to technical issues. In this case, it is up to the customer if they would like a refund or if they would like to re-schedule. We are extremely sorry for these and try everything to minimize these.

§3.4 Games cannot be resold or transferred.

§3.5 Adventox cannot accept cancellations. The client accepts that the booking fee will not be refunded as escape games are a live event. A refund can only be issued if your booking has been re-sold to a secondary client if no other game room of this game is available.

§3.6 Your booking becomes a no-show if the client does not turn up within 20 minutes of the booked time and the game will not be started. This means the game is not refundable or changeable. However, should the client turn up and the game room is not booked for the following time slot, it might be possible to play the game.

§3.7 Payment is required in full online. Should the team bring more players, an additional fee will be charged if the room has available space or tickets are available.

§3.8 Online payments can be made via PayPal, while payments in the shop can be made with contactless and pin code debit and credit cards. Alternatively, we accept cash payments in the shop.

§3.9 Adventox escape games in the UK are made to be played in English. Contact us before booking if some players do not speak English very well and we can advise which games might be more suitable if any.

§3.10 The person booking an escape game with us needs to be at least 18 years of age.

§3.11 Adventox escape games can be played from 16 years upwards. Any exception needs to be discussed with management before making any bookings.

§3.12 It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the correct booking is made including the type of game, time slot and number of players.

§3.13 It is the client’s responsibility to enter the correct contact details. Should the client not receive a booking validation within 24 hours after booking, please contact Adventox as soon as possible.

§4 Website and Security

§4.1 The website is operated by the Adventox Group and these Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the website, data security as well as bookings. These terms and conditions apply during the use of the website as well as bookings.

§4.2 The Adventox group tries to secure clients data where possible but cannot guarantee that there will be no breach. Credit or debit card details are not stored on our servers or in our stores in any case. When accepting these terms and conditions the client agrees that Adventox cannot be held liable for any damage that you may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of any such information.

§4.3 Adventox shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the website.

§4.4 It is also not permitted to link to or use any part of the website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable. Adventox has the copyright on any of the content on this website.

§4.5 The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.

§4.6 The website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites. The operation of those websites is out of our control and the user uses them at their own risk.

§4.7 The client might be contacted from time to time with offers and promotions via email or phone.

§5 General

§5.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.

§5.2 These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

§5.3 Nothing contained in any contract is intended to be enforceable pursuant to the contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any third party.

§5.4 Any agreement made between Adventox and a client are subject to these terms and conditions.

§5.5 Bullying or harassment towards employees is not accepted. Should the client not be happy with the service received, please contact an Adventox manager who will handle the situation.

§5.6 CCTV cameras are installed in all rooms. The players agree to be recorded and that recordings could be used for promotional materials.

§5.7 In the event of damages or injuries that arose due to gross negligence, Adventox limits its liability to £2,500.

§5.8 Adventox does not take any responsibility for items left in lockers. Items that have been left will be removed and stored for collection for up to 30 days. If not collected, contents will be given to a charity or disposed.

§5.9 No game details are to be disclosed to the public in any form. These ruin the game for others and are of no benefit.

§5.10 To be admitted you must confirm the full name of the booker and might be asked to confirm phone number and email address.

§5.11 All players must complete a disclaimer prior to entry into the game rooms

§6 Game Play and Safety

§6.1 No recordings can be taken inside the room. Using mobile phones or recording equipment in our game rooms will cause the game to be stopped and the game will be aborted. All mobile phones  and recording devices must be places in the lockers provided prior to the game start.

§6.2 The client will be charged for damages that have been intentional or caused by misuse.

§6.3 The players acknowledge that it is possible to injure themselves and Adventox does not take any liability for players injuring themselves or getting hurt.

§6.4 In the event of a fire alarm before the end of a game, a game might need to be aborted, it is up to the client to book different game or receive a refund.

§6.5 Players receive a short pre-game briefing by their game host. During the briefing the game host will inform players about the rules and hints for the booked game.

§6.6 Adventox is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damages that arise before, during or after our games.

§6.7 People under influence of alcohol or unprescribed drugs might be turned away and their game stated as a no-show.

§6.8 Drinks and food may not be brought into game rooms.

§6.9 Children between the age of 12 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult, children under the age of 12 are not permitted.

§6.10 Adventox suggests comfortable clothing and discourages high-heeled shoes.
